Why the Gambling Ban

Postby Admin » Sat Jul 29, 2017 9:27 pm

In a country where gambling is allowed why is Internet Gambling outlawed.

Even though the American Governments Lawyers are insisting that online gambling is illegal within the United States they also recognize the fact that it will be impossible to actually stop it from taking place.

There does not seem to be any good reason to make internet gambling illegal, is exactly what most people seem to be thinking about the Unlawful Internet Gambling Act that was signed into law on Friday the 13th by the President.

The law makes it illegal for banks and credit card companies to transfer funds to or from the casinos for the purpose of placing bets, or paying off winners.

Experts have gone over the laws and studies of the affect of gambling and online gambling, and they have released reports that show that there is no significant risk of a moral corruption of the population, if Gambling were to be allowed over the internet.

The only reason there are not casinos in every state is because, in some states the majority of the people do not gamble and fear it, and not because the government is trying to keep a tight grip on the industry. The fact is that it is up to the state to allow it or not, so why is the law not the same for internet gambling.

Many pro gambling groups are having protests and passing petitions trying to do what they can to try to get the ban on online gambling removed permanently.

Many people have said that the government has not learned since prohibition, but this situation is much different, the government is not banning gambling its just telling you where you can play.

Of course the places you can not go just happen to be places that the government does not get paid taxes from.
